چکیده

Exercise training is an important component of clinical exercise programs. Although there are recognized guidelines for the amount to be accomplished (≥70,000 steps per week or ≥150 min at moderate intensity), virtually no documentation how much actually in contemporary Having without evidence whether they being met limited value. We analyzed both weekly step count and session rating perceived exertion (sRPE) patients (n = 26) enrolled a community (e.g., Phase III) program over 3-week reference period. Step counts averaged 39,818 ± 18,612 week, with 18% 82% outside program. Using sRPE method, inside program, 162.4 93.1 12.5 1.9 frequency 1.8 0.7 times calculated load 2042.5 1244.9 AU. Outside 144.9 126.4 min, 11.8 5.8 2.4 1.5 1723.9 1526.2 The total using was 266.4 170.8 12.6 3.8, 4.2 1.1 3359.8 2145.9 There non-linear relationship between derived load, apparently attributable non-walking results suggest that achieving American College Sports Medicine guidelines, based on but accomplishing less than recommended by guidelines.

Heart rate responses during isometric exercises in patients undergoing a phase III cardiac rehabilitation program.

BACKGROUND the magnitude of cardiovascular responses is dependent on the static and dynamic components as well as the duration and intensity of the contraction performed. OBJECTIVE to evaluate the heart rate responses to different percentages of isometric contractions in 12 patients (63 ± 11.6 years) with coronary artery disease and/or risk factors for coronary artery disease that were partic...

Effect of phase III cardiac rehabilitation and relaxation on the quality of life in patients with cardiac syndrome X

Quality of life in patients with cardiological syndrome X (XS) and ischemic heart disease (IHD) assessed with Nottingham Health Profile questionnaire was compared to that shown by exercise tests. Compared to IHD patients, those with XS have worse quality of life. This is explained by a lower pain threshold and, consequently, lower exercise tolerance.
